ACCC Roundup Competitions

Competition and the exhibition of the entries are important parts of ACCC Roundups in the spring and the fall. These competitions provide club members the chance to compete with members of all the ACCC member clubs, and to view the submitted Print and Projected Images entries.

Competition Rules

All rules for preparing your images and entering the Roundup competitions are contained in this PDF Document. To avoid confusion, this is the only document containing competition rules. This document was last updated in December 2013, and previous versions are obsolete. Some important aspects of the competition rules have changed, so please read this document carefully.

Each Roundup features a “Rotating Category” in both Print and Projected Images Divisions. The Rotating Categories for upcoming Roundups are as follows:

2015 Fall Patterns

Projected Image Entries

Please read the Competition Rules document for details on preparing your images for the Projected Image Division.

Print Entries

Please read the Competition Rules document for details on preparing your images for the Print Division. You must use the following template to print labels for the back of your prints. Please note that there are 3 versions of the label:

ACCC Print Label (.docx - which is suitable for current software)

ACCC Print Label (.doc  - which is compatible with MS Word 1997 - 2003)

ACCC Print Label ("BLANK" version to be filled in manually with a ballpoint pen)

These labels will print on a 2”x4” Avery Adhesive Labels 58163 (Ink Jet).

Club Reps

Each Club Rep brings print entries for their club to the ACCC Board meeting held about one month before each Roundup. It’s very important for the Club Rep to properly check all the print entries ahead of time to ensure all prints adhere to the ACCC Competition Rules. The Club Rep should give the club member an opportunity to correct any issues before bringing the prints to the ACCC Board meeting.

Along with the prints, each Club Rep also prepares a spreadsheet listing all the print entries for their club. The Club Rep brings two printed copies of the spreadsheet to the ACCC Board Meeting, along with payment ($1 per entry). At the ACCC Board meeting, the Club Rep should first pay the Treasurer, who will sign the printed list of entries. Then the Club Rep can submit the signed list along with the prints to the Print Chair. The spreadsheet for recording entries can be downloaded by clicking here. After uploading a box will open, be sure to click on "enable macros" to fully open the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Last, a day or two before the ACCC Board meeting the Club Rep should email the completed spreadsheet to the Competition Secretary (jim.warthman AT gmail.com). The spreadsheets from all clubs will be merged into a “master list” for use by the Print Chair during the print judging.
