Tom Klare Fall 2025 Roundup Speaker
Tom Klare is an award winning photographer, visual artist, and professor emeritus of art.
Before moving to Arizona, he spent two decades in Southern California shooting commercial and editorial photography.
In Arizona, he taught digital photography and post-production at Mesa Community College for 15 years, retiring from teaching in 2021.
Tom’s photography work has been selected to be shown in orbit aboard a SpaceX Dragon Capsule and has been used by National Geographic and The Nature Conservancy plus many others. His images have won numerous international awards through Prix de la Photographie Paris, IPA International Photography Awards, ND Neutral Density Awards and Budapest International Foto Awards.
In addition to his personal work, Tom has led photography workshops for Arizona Highways magazine and is a frequent
guest speaker for numerous photography groups and organizations.
